Mallory Test Day & EMRA Race Meet

This was the bike's first outing of the season. Quite tentative following Purp's crash at Anglesey Grand in the previous October. Flash Harry was out in support in his first ever ACU practise and race meet. The test day was 26th Feb and this was the first time anyone had tried out the new Edwinas chicane before the Esses.

Yoav competed in his first ever races, and, to his credit, managed to stay upright with 2 respectable finishes.

Purple Haze also managed to defy her previous form by not binning it completely. 2 run outs in the Open 1300cc class (eeps!) in which I managed to finish (last and second to last), though in the latter race I found the bike to be understeering and pushing out round bends .. I found only 18psi in the front tyre on returning to the paddock!

I only managed one finish in the Formula 400 (14th out of 17) as my chain decided to fly off whilst starting for the first race.

There was success for the team as I manahed to win a 3rd place trophy in the final Novice race in the F400 class. Brilliant day. When I find my camera I will do a shot of the trophy!
