Oulton Park Trackday 12th March 2003
This was the fist time I had ever been to Oulton Park. I decided to take the plunge and get some appraisal from Daz Jones who was instructing for Track Time Promotions on the day.
This was a very busy day and I have never seen so many at a track day. Some very quick people out there in the ACU group with a few BSB boys there too. I managed to learn lots and get my times down, although I had to do some outrageous outbraking manouvres to get past some of the 600s in my group. Alas, this caught up with me in the afternoon, when I also tried some radical suspension changes, meaning the frnt end washed out from under me at Old Hall *damn*. Not too bad as there seems to have been mainly cosmetic damage to bike (doesn't look this nice anymore!) and I bashed my shoulder slightly.
Below are some of the cool photos from the day.
